Does IPL know more than AP Government?

Indian Premier League is a great money spinner. And Hyderabad is a city of cricket maniacs. When IPL decided to shift their matches out of Hyderabad, AP's namesake Chief Minister started pushing panic buttons. IPL knew it's decision would be a huge financial loss and Rosaiah knew, it would tarnish the state image even further - since IPL is joining host of other IT companies and businesses those have started looking elsewhere.

Rosaiah spoke to everyone in IPL and promised all the help from Andhra Pradesh state government including personal assurances on security in Hyderabad. This may look herculean commitment from a very weak Chief Minister who is not in a position to control, his own party MLA's and for the that matter, his own cabinet.

Did IPL knew that Rosaiah cannot offer an environment to conduct the IPL matches based on his track record? Even if it is partially true, IPL is more worried about the "political mafia" in the state who are now taking money for running small businesses to releasing Tollywood movies in the Telanaga state.

I think IPL are worried more about those three (KCR, his daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha and Harish Rao), who could take away the "profits" from IPL and just leave them with the "agony" and the game.

Isn't it the case here that IPL did not get any positive assurance from the "those three", and hence decided to move away from Hyderabad? Unlike Tollywood, IPL played safe. IPL decision is an important example, how we have two parallel authorities in the state. A government does not work and a "political mafia" that can seemingly make anything happen.

God please save Andhra Pradesh!
