I mentioned in my earlier blog that all these TANA annual celebrations and the hyped visit of Babu to US have some hidden agenda. At that time I was only suspecious.
Today we got more evidence.
In today's Eenadu, it is mentioned that at least three NRI's in US are keen to take up Telugu Desam MP seat and contest in the next Loksabha Elections. All these have spent millions of dollars (whose money is another question!), coordinated Babu's visit and moved with him very closely.
It is, no doubt a clever move by the all concerned parties. First of all, this news is a feeler. It will gauge the pulse of the Congress. Since one of the Congress MP from Telengana was as NRI, TDP got their ammunition to counter. So, the debate will be over sooner than later.
It may be possible that after spending millions of dollars, the three NRI's are indirectly expressing their intention. Since Chandrababu Naidu got millions of dollars (most may be in black), he is in vulnerable position. As I said in my earlier blog - it is a marriage of Power and Wealthy. Hidden oppotunities must be explored always.
For Babu, he may have his own argument that these wealthy NRI's are in Service of the US Telugu's (and Telugu Desam Party) and also, with grand publicity in the friendly electronic media they are seen doing lot of development and social work in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu may even argue that in this globalised world such opportunities must be grabbed and he may even appoint - a Mininister for US NRI's Welfare.
What is not coming out is - how much is getting exchanged in kind and cash? What commitment Babu got from them in terms of funds?
I am confident that these will never come out because for Eenadu it is seen development of the state (Or, all their journalists are busy with thier investigations in the corrupt Y S Rajasekhar Reddy Government)

Tomorrow's news today: ATA will now align with Congress. It is going to be official since TANA is openly supported TDP. With such great unity, these people expect a US President from our Telugu community.

Thanks for your feedback. I fully appeciate your point of view. For your information, I am a big fan of Chandra Babu Naidu and Eenadu. Unfortunately, in this murky battle both of them are loosing their credibility.
