Is it the end of Telangana state?

Any mass moved would sustain, as long as the emotions are sustained at the highest level. As a famous saying goes, "public memory is poor" and once the emotions are discharged - public memory fades rapidly. At this moment reality would kickin to public, and to the common man who suffered the worst. The real hardships of daily living becomes a naked truth. Earning daily wages, feeding the family and paying the rent. Sending children to the schools or paying their fees. These will not stop for anything including a seamingly genuine struggle.

Between 9th Dec 09 and 5th Jan 2010 the Andhra Pradesh experienced the worst of times for generations. There was no government per se. There was no administration. Police remained spectators. Politicians cutting across all the parties and regions contributed to the chaos.

Common man was charged emotionally to zenith. Suddenly "God" was seen in K Chandrasekhar Rao. He was prepared to die. Die for the cause of Telangana people. Telangana causes. When God's and daemons land on the earth, we have seen what would happen. The state was put for ransom.

Suddenly my neighbour from Andhra became my number one enemy. It was like watching Gadar movie - but just short of killing seen between Hindu's and Muslims. Some one said we are like brothers. There was nothing wrong dividing like true brothers. But we have two mothers!

The traditional drama stage at Ravindra Bharathi shifted to NIMS. Genuine patients and lives were put at risk.

First Andhra and Rayalaseema MLA's and MP's tendered their resignations. But Speaker did not accept. Then Telangana MLA's and MP's did the same and again speaker did not accept. The ministers from both sides resigned publicly. Again Chief Minister did not accept them. All the MLA's, MP's and Ministers are now back to their "daily jobs". Often muttering, again about Telangana and United Andhra Pradesh albeit with low intensity. Like common man, they also realised the hardships in their daily lives. The loss of daily earnings!

New Year came. All MP's / MLA's / Ministers made resolutions. They wanted to die for their people. Given ultimatum to Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh. If the decision on Telengana was not taken on 5th Jan 2010, everyone said - sacrifice is the only answer.

From the December fasting month, we are now come down to the threats. Threat to die - die for the people.

Then came the 6th Jan 2010. Suddenly everything changed. We haven't seen any sacrificies till now. KCR, became silent. Asked for the peace and calm. The students at all universities were amused. While at Delhi, "God" came to KCR with boons and KCR could not refuse. Suddenly our "God" is not seen in public. Like Lord Venkateswara of Tirupathi, this God also went behind seven hills into the elite Banajara Hills in Hyderabad( or Tuglak Road in Delhi). He would meet very few. Talk to few. Only special darshans and no more public apprearance.

Sankranti came and gone. We still hear occasional outbursts. Chandrababu Naidu will send "God" to all those vocal supporters. Congress high command will send "God" to their vocal supporters. "God" will bestow all the boons. Most would be satisfied. And now they talk of development and a parallel movement for Telanaga.

"God" did not come to common man. As usual he would never come to them. Even to see those people who innocently sacrificed their lives. "God" did not come to Osmania and Kakatiya University Students to give "boons". Probably "God" may never visit them to bestow boons. Because, they - the students think they are beyond "God" and boons.

For sometime to come, we will see emotions like after shocks from a big tremors.

The Third Telangana battle has effectively come to an end on 5th Jan 2010 in Delhi. If in the first and second Telagana battles - YS Rajasekhar Reddy defeated K Chandrasekhar Rao with great effort, in the third battle KCR successfully defeated himself. Yet, the common man and a University student still think their "God" KCR will get them the state of Telangana. All these people hope one day the movement will be back with full force. KCR also knows, when the energy and strength from the boons wane, the only way to see "God" again is through this Telangana, Common man and the Students. Until then he will be busy with strategies.

God, please give some wisdom to all those who have really suffered and sacrificied their precious lives - not boons!

If you think violence and riots as the only measure of people's sentiments then you are right. But the truth is telangana villages are peacefully expressing their support to telangana movement everyday with dramas, singing, celebrating and satyagraha. If the andhra lobbying media do not show them on main editions then that means you are just ignorant. Just like you were when you could only see a corrupt politician in KCR but none in CBN, YSR or Lagadapati.

Thanks. I never said CBN, YSR or Lagadapati are honest politicians.

Regarding media, there is neutral media in the state (or in India). These are class or power brokers. Why they should show the village stories - when no one pays them? or perhaps no one reads them?
