What is happening to Chandrababu Naidu?

Chandrababu Naidu inspired a generation with his vision and direction. If NTR brought the Telugu identity out of Madrasis, Chandrababu Naidu laid foundations for the Andhra Pradesh supremecy. During his 9 years as Chief Minister, he slogged 18 hours a day and made AP Govt officials to work like that. He inspired many CM's in India and as a matter of fact, brought an healthy competition among the states. His development slogans, no-nonsense approach changed the destiny of AP. Shaking his hands with Bill Clinton or business leaders at Davos or talking to Bill Gates with Power Point slides he sent a clear message to the rest of the world - "here is a smart CM and whom you cannot ignore". Keeping gigantic Congress out of political power in AP and Andhra Politics for 9 years is a great achievement in itself. When he lost the power, I was one of those persons truly disappointed.

Looking CBN today reminds me of a person who lost direction. He is very ordinary and silly at times. While watching, the assembly proceeding other day on the TV, I had a doubt in my mind - is he the person who motivated a generation? Is he the person who prepared blueprint for AP development?

CBN looks like a person who is suffering from acute stress, trauma or depression. He is a frustrated soul. Clearly, he is not having understanding of his role as Opposition Leader. Probably his understanding is "being in Opposition means Oppose everything, negate everything that Govt says or does".

Every role has a value. Every role has a dignity. A person's maturity and wisdom can be seen by what value that he brings in and what difference he makes to the role. Let's take the simple example of A P J Abdul Kalam, and see what kind of dynamism he brought to the Presidency otherwise considered as a monotonous role?

But, the acts of CBN are clear indication of his immaturity and desperation. At the best it is a combination of arrogance and ignorance. He along with his band of MLA's have a simple agenda of obstructing the Assembly proceeding for every silly thing. What CBN is failing to understand is people are watching his acts and moves every day and every second. Here I am not supporting the AP Govt or it's acts. For CBN, it is important to understand the issues and take a stand that fits for his role of Opposition Leader.

A simple example is about introduction of water meters. As a reformist CM, his stand today is amazing. The other issue about Margadarsi is even bewildering. His acts gives an impression that he is under direct attack in Margadarsi issue. The Govt, in the past two years have done some good things, specially in the field of Irrigation. Dams cannot be built in one day. But, surely, the investments are in right direction. Even, here CBN views are negative. The Congress Govt never abandoned the Hitech Agenda. Infact, the last two years have seen significant development in many fields. A clear measure is today's real estate prices in AP. Here again, CBN fails to compliment the Govt.

I hope CBN would realise that Power is always transient while the commitment and dedication to the people's right causes is remembered for ever. Whether you are in Power or in Opposition you can always make difference in right way. Else, a generation that is inspired by Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu will get disillusioned.

Even Lord Krishna, in entire Mahabaratam only talked. But, in Bhagavatam he showed how to act and do the right things.

Dr.Kalam did the right things when he was supposed to do. He brought dignity and and a sense of reponsibility to the role. He is the best President India had since Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

They are some people born on this earth to talk and inspire the mankind. Some people out of ego just hear - and do not listen. Such people cannot see, even the difference between an apple and an Orange

i too agree with u that CBN has become a bad opposition leader . But i strongly oppose that we had development in the last 2 yrs . Common yar , do the thing the projects are going on .. The are the place where the MLAs and the CM can eat lot of money . If we see the total money invested in these projects and total money spent on them , u can get a clear idea what is happening out there .

Who the hell on earth dont know that free power is not possible . And there is 4 hrs of power cut everyday in towns ,more than 16 hrs in villages, and 2 hrs in cities .. That is even before the summer has started . Just think how this summer is going to be . Damn sure it is going to be horrible .

And IT sector which should have been in a sky rocket shape is almost become stagnant . It is far less than what it should have been .

U say real estate is good . It is just damn idiotic that the house i thought of buying last year for 10 lakh has become 75 lakh . Do u think that is good . And as a middle class person , can i afford know to buy it .And u say it is developement in one year .

God knows how it is going to be good .
