Hightech life

Today in India, working long hours is a fashion.

I was asleep past midnight and my SMS buzzes
Middle of the night I awake only to check my blackberry
I get up in the morning to logon to the laptop
I do not have time to take my breakfast - because I have to beat Bangalore traffic
I am on confernce call while going to work
I reach the office to be welcomed by crisis
I fogot to take my lunch - as I was in conference calls
I take some junk and loads of coffee to keep fit and agile
I leave the office with more crisis..
I need to go to a pub and have a beer for networking
I am in my car back home catching up with my wife (if house wife)
By the time I reach home everybody is asleep.
For the last time, I look at my Blackberry and a good night kiss
No dinner - the drinks filled my tummy
I keep my mobile next to bed along with Blackberry to go to sleep
Laptop is already on waiting for me in the room
I do not have time to look my wife next to me - tired asleep waiting for me whole evening

Next day, next week, next next month ... goes on like that.

This is what I call 24/7, High Tech life!
